Laura is our office manager and has been with the practice for over 3 decades. She has worked almost every position in the office, the last 20 years as the chair side assistant. She has grown up in this practice and knows the patients as family. She has Twin sons, Richard and Robert. Recently she was so blessed to welcome daughter in law, Angela to the family as Richards wife. She has a large extended family- most of them live close by so, time outside of the office is usually spent with them. She likes to read, knit, and sew.
Sue Akins is the smile that greets you, setting a welcoming tone to Peak View Dentistry. Her presence has helped to create a “Family” atmosphere beginning 21 years ago in Dr. Jay Swartzwelter’s practice. Faith and family are truly at the core of Sue’s life. Eight years ago she remarried, adding not only a husband, but a son and daughter to the five wonderful daughters she loves, raised, and home schooled, mostly on her own following the passing of her husband in 1995. Sue has been dedicated to the practice which is now PeakView Dentistry. Her caring for the patients, many of whom have entrusted their dental health to us for 40 years or as 2nd and 3rd generations, is reflected in her consistent patient contact, sensitive scheduling to account for the patient’s needs, and coordinating hygiene and dentist requirements. “Sue is the glue” should be etched and framed above her desk. She feels blessed by the connections with patients, many of whom have become friends. She sees an exciting future for Dr. Esmaili and PeakView Dentistry and a continuation of dental care with personal connections into future generations of family patients to come.
